Hello Everyone!
I am Dibyangshu . I am a Masters student in Chemistry program in the Department of Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar. My research interest primarily lies in the field of Organic synthesis and catalysis . I am interested in photoredox chemistry, development of synthetic methodology, organocatalysis, transition metal mediated chemistry and peptide chemistry. My current Masters project involves research on α-iminoester using photoredox chemistry , focusing specifically on the Reductive trifluromethylation of the α-iminoester under the supervision of Prof. Indranil Chatterjee.
I obtained my Bachelor's (B.Sc.) in Chemistry from St. Xavier's College Kolkata, India in the year 2022. During my Bachelor's Dissertaion , I worked under Dr. Sanjib Ganguly on a Literature Review type project exploring Carbon Monoxide Dehydrogenase (CODH) enzyme. Right now, as a part of my Masters Thesis, I am working under Dr. Indranil Chatterjee in the realm of Photoredox Catalysis.
